Fall 2022 End-of-Semester Communications

Dear Colleagues,

As the Fall 2022  semester draws to a close, we wanted to reach out to you before we all enjoy our winter break.

Here are a few updates:

• Let’s start break a bit earlier. We will not be having a meeting on Friday, December 9^th.
• Update on grievance:
  • We will continue to move forward with Union Service grievance.
• Spring Negotiations
  • Next Spring we will be having a reopener on negotiations. Specifically, we will be addressing salary and workload. If you are interested in participating or helping, please be in touch with Lenny.
• American Federation of Teachers (AFT) with which AAUP is now associated, will have a legislative preview on Thursday, December 15^th  5:30pm where they will share their focus on the 2023 legislative agenda. If you are interested, please register here: https://forms.gle/pdzNXgiHSkHNYyX5A
• Moving forwards, you’ll also be able to access  union communications on the Union Website at: https://aaupsfcc.wordpress.com/
